Vi is my cousin, my sister, and one of my best friends. We’ve been partners in crime since I exited the womb, so if you’ve ever spent any extended amount of time with me, you’ve likely met Vi too. She’s the first person to support me, laugh at my jokes, and she’s visited me in every city I’ve ever lived in. After me, she’ll be the most stressed person at the wedding - so if you run into her, pull her away for a drink!
Tina and I met at Cy-Ridge High school, where I recruited her to my group for our school’s talent show - she played the piano while I sang. We've been best friends ever since. Because of Tina, I joined UT’s Filipino Student Association and happened to meet the love of my life, so she’s partially to thank for this wedding! Her party trick is that she can rap the entirety of "A Mili" by Lil Wayne in one breath.
Winnie is my younger cousin and who I consider my (annoying) little sister. We grew up amongst a big group of close-knit cousins, but became much closer after spending an overlapping year in college together. She’s my go-to person for an honest opinion, and her fun fact is that she’s an incredibly dedicated dog mom! Ask her about Odie :)
Justin and I were our high school’s Key Club President and Vice President, respectively, and from that student organization I gained my most loyal friend. We went on to attend university together and he’s been like family to me ever since. Justin’s fun fact is that he doesn’t know how to say no - so if you need someone to join you for a drink at the wedding, he’s your guy!
Ari and I met through our partners, and we clicked right off the bat. From the start of our friendship until now, she’s been kind, caring, and dependable. Outside of Brian, she’s the person I spend the most of my free time with and is my closest friend in Seattle. She’s a fan of documenting all things, so try to get yourself in one of her TikTok videos!
PB and I were in the same family in the Filipino Student Association at UT, and bonded through our mutual taste in music and silly Vietnamese humor. He’s one of the most open-hearted and friendly people you’ll ever meet, and I’m happy to call him one of my closest friends. At the wedding, you’ll catch him running the dance floor or doing his specialty, which is chatting up a Vietnamese parent.
